The Aeroponic Propagator is now a remarkably popular system. Ideally, all systems should be aeroponic but their very nature means that they are prone to roots clogging up the sprayer, limescale furring and high power pumps overheating the reservoir among other problems.
Using aeroponics for propagation, on the other hand, is a very effective method as plants aren't in there long enough for roots to be a problem and the systems are small enough to easily maintain. Roots appear in days instead of weeks and develop quickly into an abundance of healthy white roots that give plants an excellent headstart when planted out in any hydroponic system.
