DiaHydro is silica growing media. It has the same advantages as diatomaceous earth in that it will help to kill crawling insects whilst also ensuring a constant root zone temperature due to its insulating properties. Ideal as mulch in compost grows, or for using instead of clay pebbles in Hydro systems as it also prevents overwatering when used exclusively.
