There are soil as well as hydroponic products, including a formula for use with Coco peat. The Aqua range has been specifically designed for recirculating systems.

Generally, for users in the North of England we recommend the regular formulas whereas users in the South should use the hard water formulas.*

*You will usually know how hard your water is by how quickly your kettle or taps fur up with limescale. By and large, water is harder in the South than the North. This is not precise by any means and you can only be sure of the makeup of your water by contacting your local water authority or by sending a sample off for testing.
