Horticultural nutrient strengths are measured in TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), by EC (Electrical Conductivity) or by CF (Conductivity Factor). The higher the reading, the stronger the concentration of nutrients in solution. Careful monitoring and adjustment are the key to healthy growth and prevention of over or under fertilisation.
